About Me
I'm passionate about connection with nature and with each other — so that our country and Europe can stand on their own two feet, without having to compromise on our values of privacy, autonomy, and a sustainable world for the next generation.
My great-grandmother's family had eleven children and gave each of the eleven their own farm. Standing on your own two feet isn't an idea in our family — it's the assignment that's been there for three generations already.
Nine years ago, Camptoo — from a stand at the trade fair with no website to 180,000 travelers from 84 countries. Before that, five years in private equity at NIBC and Avedon. Most people move from founding to investing; I went the other way.
Something comes in, then I need silence to sit with it, and then I know. Once it's right, nothing feels better than building it with a team until it stands. In, out, in, out.
